Delhi Metro Phase 4: New Lines, New Stations — What You Need to Know
DMRC Phase 4 expansion adds 65.20 km across 6 new corridors, with sections opening in 2026.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is implementing Phase 4, one of the largest expansions in the network's history. With 65.20 km of new track and 45 new stations across 6 corridors, Phase 4 will significantly extend metro connectivity in Delhi-NCR.
Key Phase 4 Corridors:
•Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg (Pink Line Extension)
•Mukundpur–Maujpur Corridor
•Aerocity to Tughlakabad
•Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block
Several sections are expected to open in 2025–2026. The expansion will add connectivity to previously underserved areas like Janakpuri, Tughlakabad, and parts of South-East Delhi.
Commuters on the Phase 4 sections will benefit from new platform screen doors, better air-conditioning, and upgraded signalling systems based on CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) technology.
